StoriesChes 26, 1377StoriesI have arrived in Waterdeep by ship today and I find myself immensely grateful to be on land once more. The trip was wretched, the captain and crew incompetant in the extreme. Indeed I find myself amazed to have made it here alive rather than be swallowed by the stormy seas. Upon docking it took mere moments to find suitable lodgings, a tavern called the Angry Coxswain. The food is palatable, the sheets are clean all things considered I do not think I could ask for more save a bit of privacy of which there is none. No sooner had I sat down to have a drink a foul smelling man in robes began staring at me, even going so far as to crane his head in order to stare at a bit of paper I had been writing on. PATRIOT GAME Come all ye young rebels, and list while I sing, For the love of one's country is a terrible thing. It banishes fear with the speed of a flame, And it makes us all part of the patriot game. My name is O'Hanlon, and I've just turned sixteen. My home is in Monaghan, and where I was weaned I learned all my life cruel England's to blame, So now I am part of the patriot game.
