Four senior bodyguards of the gang formerly known as the "Magistrates Gang" were found dead in their own warehouse in the early hours of the morning after a fire was set downstairs. All of them were found with their throats cut, wrists cut and in the same laid out fashion as the other gang members. The blaze thankfully was short lived and didn't damage any of the surrounding buildings. The Magistrates Gang is now rumored to be "out of commission".

Watch guards with loose lips have said that other bodies were also found within the vicinity of the building.

Officer Kethean Kincade was near fatally wounded today when shot by an unseen assailant on the Trades Ward. It was perpetrated by a supposed Drow, on a rooftop. So far attempts to find the said assailant have proven fruitless. The Watch are currently looking to talk with:

Another gang body was found in the early hours of the watch. Found in the same position as the others. This member is a low level gang related member.

"Figure in black takes pot shots at all and sundry!" Brave Miryia, Quigly and Allison were the main victims, but another as yet unknown figure fell from the rooftops, perhaps drawing fire so that those below could be tended. The figure that attacked was not captured.

Drow Archer apprehended by city watch! The population of the city have for no small time now been held to the risk of being fired upon by an unknown archer from the rooftops. This is now no longer the case. The assailant is being held guarded in the cellar of a local noble house.

The Lords have agreed that this foul creature must hang. Therefore, at the beginning of the next ride, the verdict will take place.

Screams of anguish and mourning were heard coming from the Halls of Justice as favored son was returned on his shield. It is said that the family hopes to restore the nobleman Tiberius Gundwynd to life Tyr willing. His name was cleared of all wrong doing posthumously.

The body of the traitor Rigel Sultlue is to be publicly dismembered and scattered as a warning to all those who would consort with the vile drow.

Prisoner On the Run!

The Drow sniper appreheneded recently for crimes against the city of Waterdeep has killed the watch officer questioning. He was due to hang this very morning. A reward of 1000 gold coins has been issued.

Copycat Sniper Caught!

A rooftop sniper was caught yesterday, but upon being unmasked in public was apparently human. He was quickly taken into custody by the Watch, and there were no reports of anyone hurt.

Unicorn seen in the Gardens!

It is rumored that a unicorn was spotted cavorting with elves earlier this afternoon. At one point one elf was even reported to have ridden the beast.

It didn't last long however, the animal raced away after a few short minutes.


The Lords hasten to note that Unicorns in the city while welcomed, are unlikely to happen. They are quick to refute the claims, putting it down to high jinx on a hot summers eve.

A rumor is spreading. That Tahiri, the famed temptress of the trades ward was going to have a one time only show. One folks will be talking about for many years to come. For that joyful, flirt of a tavern owner, rumored adventurer extraordinaire... was going to strip at the three stars!!

The stripping was confirmed!! apparently a bet gone wrong... but a person has to follow through with a bet right?

The 'Weedy Fen-Sucked Miscreant' counter in The Three Stars has unfortunately not made it past 1 in the last few weeks...

IN the early hours of the morning the strangest of things happened in the Castle Ward. Arrows were heard to be flying all over the place, visions of war and horror along with the sounds of such horrible events as to leave one guardsman catatonic and in a state of shock, the other stunned. Orcs were rumored, along with humans and elves in this fight. Such a horrible event!

MAYHEM IN THE MARKET

Reports of Elves, Orcs and Trolls fighting and killing eachother in the market earlier today resulted in the death of a small child. Witnesses say that the incident came on suddenly and with no warning. It ended the same way. The witnesses claim this event was even more horrific than the last time in the Castle Ward. The Watch have no comment to make at this time. They remain tightlipped.

The broadsheets of the presses of Waterdeep, along with the rumor mill reported a mid air collision of the newest recruits on a training flight over Mt Waterdeep today. Two griffons were injured during the training flight accident and sadly a new recruit was killed. The riders are holding an inquiry in to what happened.

The city lords have expressed their condolences.
